2025 is here, and there’s nowhere to run! Just kidding lol 

We have arrived, my friend, to a new year, and if I’m honest, ours didn’t start off too great! Our upstairs bathroom flooded due to pipe issues, so we were running around like chickens with our heads cut off to clear up the water ten minutes before the ball dropped on TV. Luckily, we have a warranty and homeowner insurance, but it was chaotic. We’re waiting for the walls to dry out, but on a lighter note, we haven’t paid much! Other than that, we’re hanging in there. 

Okay, here are my updates since I totally missed December 😅

youtube update

I made a new YouTube plan to infuse more of myself into my content. I took a step back and realized that I struggled to be consistent because my time has been limited since becoming a mom. I had to be realistic because I can’t create in the same way that I used to, but that doesn’t mean I can’t create at all. This year, I made a list of things outside of crafting that I wouldn’t mind chatting about, like healthy recipes, drawing, and nature walks.

I will keep creative content on the blog, so don’t get sappy on me. I know many of you love my cross-stitch patterns, so I’m not getting rid of anything, but I will be incorporating more of my current life into my content. My first video back shares the story behind my first published book.

New favorite teapot

I found a teapot that, umm, I think you might love!

Many of you know that I absolutely love tea. Call me scary, but I’m still getting readjusted to using a gas stove, and honestly, I don’t like using the open fire. I purchased this kettle on Amazon during a black Friday sale, so I can make tea or coffee without messing with the stove, lol.

New study bible

So I’ve only had one study bible, and unfortunately, I think it’s discontinued now, so I found another bible, which happens to be this one. It’s pretty amazing, and no lie, I have been sharing it with everyone. I couldn’t miss the chance to share it with you. 

For some reason, many of my favorite Bibles are being discontinued, so if you are looking for a new bible, grab this one before it goes away.

Design tutorials

Step-by-step tutorials are coming on the blog, too. I really like making stuff in Adobe Illustrator, and I want to share it with others, so if you’re interested in TikTok or YouTube live overlays, I gotcha!

I will be going live and sharing how to hand-letter all 66 books of the Bible, but also I plan on using YouTube to share the scripture journal and how to memorize scripture.
