Fall is here in Ohio, and I honestly can’t believe it. It seems like yesterday I was celebrating my birthday in July and now bam💥, a whole other month has dropped. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, the years are really on the move.

Interaction Moment 💬
How are you all doing? Are you knee-deep in decorating for the holiday season? Take a moment and share what you’ve been up to in the comments below.
I have appreciated visiting some of our local parks in Ohio and witnessing the leaves change. One thing I really want to do before the fall season is over is check out the corn maze at Lake Farmpark. If you’ve never been there and live near Ohio, take the drive because it is so worth it.
Alright, I know you came here to check out my monthly recap, so I will stop yapping and get right to it!
Guess who was blessed with a cool job?!

Meeee! Yesterday, I started a sensory analyst position. I’m super excited about this unique job. I’ve been asking the Lord during my prayer time about my next steps in life now that our son is in Kindergarten, and no lie, this opportunity popped down from the heavenly skies.
I like researching and learning about why food does what it does to our bodies and why it can taste so flavorful or bland. This is a new journey for me, but I’ve decided to step back from planning every aspect of my life and allow the Lord to lead me. On that note, I want to encourage you to keep your mind open to what the Lord may be doing in your life this season. Be careful not to ignore the unctions that you may be having, especially if you’ve been talking to the Lord in prayer about specific things.
I finally dipped my toes into going live.
I’m a live streamer now. I started going live on September 18th, and I slowly but surely started getting comfortable with the process. It’s really not hard. A little bit of you has to not care so much about what others think or say because you can always block them.
So far, my social media lives have been about cooking meals, but I’m getting my schedule together to start doing crafts. The setup for crafting can be a little more involved, so this is my week to test it out. If you haven’t already signed up for The Zeal Mail Club, make sure you do that to receive more information about my live content.
Also, follow me on TikTok or Instagram if you want to pop in and learn more about me live in the flesh. I would love to chat with you since most of you have been reading my blog since 2019.
🛒 Dani’s Five Favorite Things 🛍️
This is our family’s favorite coconut water. We’ve been using it for a while to stay hydrated throughout the day.

Unfortunately, our son got a little sick after starting kindergarten, so I had to get a new thermometer. I really like this one because, honestly, he doesn’t understand how to use the one that goes under his tongue.

We’ve been using it for about a year, and I can honestly say that it gets our clothing clean. However, we have a gas dryer, and man, oh man, it dries away all the scent. So, if you want something that cleans well but doesn’t leave a scent because you don’t want the fragrance, this is a good buy.

I’m late, but I finally purchased a lemon squeeze tool. This one works great, and it’s stainless steel, so I can just pop it right into the dishwasher.

If you have ever seen the poster holders at IKEA, this is similar, with more color options. I may switch out my traditional frames and add more to my office because it looks terrific on our wall.
tennis is back in my life 🎾

I’ve taken a long hiatus from playing tennis, and oh my goodness, y’all, it shows. I’m hoping to get consistent and see some major improvement in my game. I want to move my body more and not make excuses. If that’s you, too, we got this. Let’s help our bodies be the best versions of themselves without overdoing it, of course!
Supported Shelly Kim’s new Sizzix Collection.

I had the wonderful opportunity to support my online friend Shelly Kim’s Debut Collection with Sizziz. Now, I’ve known about Sizzix for years, but I never got to try their die-cut machine. It was cool learning about how to use one and just being able to support another creative that I look up to. Check out my YouTube video below if you want to see my review/product.
