March, oh March, where did you go? Just like every other month, march has hopped on out of here!
This month’s recap is a mixture of tips and randomness, lol.
Sidenote: If you’re new here, welcome! I started this blog recap series last year to reflect on the months throughout the year. I also want to chat about other topics, so a recap seems the easiest.

Here’s my march recap
Making new friends is rewarding.
Life can be hard, but it can be sweet when a group of people rally around you. Living in a new state and being far away from what’s familiar has been challenging, but I decided to make new friends. It isn’t easy to do at any age, but it’s possible. I’ve been a queen introvert for years, but I’m moving towards being an ambivert, I think! 😂
Hibiscus tea is super soothing.
If you love tea, you totally need to try hibiscus tea. I fell in love with this loose-leaf version. Chris and I have a cup almost every night before bed. It’s also known to help reduce high blood pressure, so that’s a plus! Let me know if you try it or if you’ve always been a fan of hibiscus tea.

Pinterest over Instagram
Is anyone else tired of Instagram and Facebook? Both are super spammy and consuming in excess is no good. Pinterest has been my main jam lately because I can post and move on. There’s no additional interaction needed to make the algorithm like me.
If you’re a blogger or considering blogging, you should use Pinterest and SEO as your strategy.
Free and Paid Patterns
Pattern-making has been the driving force behind my blog’s success, but it’s a lot of work. I will continue to upload free patterns because I know you all love them, but can you do me a favor? Would you consider donating any amount to support my blog?
Here’s my Kofi. You can make a one-time or monthly donation below.
I sincerely appreciate you’re generosity and support.
Apps for Productivity
If you want to maximize your time and accomplish more tasks, check out the Forest app. I use it to help me set time boundaries for cleaning, playtime with Eli, reading, blogging, and everything else. I’m tell y’all, this app has helped me truly get the most out of my day.
Tapestry Crochet isn’t that hard.
Guess who turned their artwork into a crochet pattern? Me! I played around with traditional weaving but settled back on crocheting. I might create some patterns to share with you all, but for now, I’m just rediscovering the world of crocheting.
I like to create geometric abstraction artwork on canvas and using adobe illustrator. Here’s how the pattern came out. Feel free to crochet this out if you like tapestry wall hanging.
Well, that’s it for this month’s recap. I hope you have a blessed April full of rest, laughter, and peace.
Blessings -Danielle ✨
