🎵 It’s beginning to look a lot like April. Oh, hear the rain droplets drip. 🎶
How did March treat you? Let me know in the comments below.
Here are some little tidbits I want to share with you to encourage your spirit.
🌥️ Dream Again 🌥️
Age doesn’t define you, mmkay! Maybe some things in your life aren’t what you’d hope they would be, but that’s A okay. Pivoting to pick up that dream, goal, or aspiration is totally fine to do. Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t revisit something especially if it brings joy to the world and makes your heart smile.

✨You are enough. There’s no need to mimic anyone.✨
Personally, I’m growing in this area myself because I want to show up as my whole self and not what others want or envision me to be. It’s so easy to turn inspiration into mimicry if we’re not careful, especially since we are living in the age of social media and, unfortunately, internalizing the “like” culture. My little tidbit for you and myself is to lean into what makes you unique and special in the Lord’s eyes. Shoot, ask the Lord! How can I show up more, representing you and being my whole self as you created me? The Lord has all the answers for you. I bet my bottom dollar that He will say through His word, “You are enough as you are.”
🐢 Slow Livin’ is still Good Livin’.🐌
I must admit. I’ve been moving fast in several areas and making silly mistakes. Dropping this and bumping into that, then saying to myself,” Lord, what’s happening?” 🤪 I don’t know if you’ve been in the fast lane of life, but here’s a virtual yellow light🚦 for you. Slowing down and being aware can save you a lot of pain, frustration, and heartache. Your pinky toe wouldn’t bump that end chair if you slow ya roll and walk, lol. No matter how the world is moving around you, slow livin’ is still good livin’ and with less self-inflicted wounds.
👇🏾Alright, I won’t keep you waiting! Here’s my march recap.👇🏾
🎨 I applied to an Art Residency! 👩🏽🎨
Whoohoo! I submitted an application to a local arts organization to be artsy for three- months. I absolutely love abstract art, especially geometric abstraction, and this is the year I will create more of it. I have gravitated towards this style since my first art class in college so I’m excited to fully share my art. Don’t worry, I will be sure to update you all in the next recap or sooner!
💐 Florals are speaking to me.🌸
Haha, not literally, but I took my first-ever floral arrangement class, and I just wanna say, “Peace on top of Peace.” If you remember last month’s recap, I shared my new series ✨Creatives of the Month✨, highlighting Marsha from Refined Gatherings and her upcoming events. I was able to attend two of her workshops, and it really left me feeling energized, especially after having a challenging week. Wherever you live, I’d like to encourage you to take a floral class and see just how amazing it can be for your mental health.

📚Deep Dive into Mark 📖
So, I’ve been stuck in Mark 1 and the stories inside. It’s important to me in this season to really learn more about Jesus’s character, and for some reason, Mark popped into my path. If you’re a Christian or just a person who wants to grab hold of faith, give Mark 1 a read and dive deeper if you feel led. I don’t think you’ll regret it.
🖼️ Museum Hop de Hop 🪩

I love a good membership to a museum, zoo, science center you name it! Mainly because I birthed an active kid who loves moving his body, so I need places for him to explore. We completed our first hop-de-hop last week by visiting three museums in four hours. Let’s just say our legs were noodles after we finally made it home.
✨ Creative of the Month ✨

I have to share a funky bag with y’all! Here’s a pineapple one that I added to my collection a few months ago. It’s pretty spacious too, and cute for kids + funky parents

Who doesn’t love a cute mug? We got these when we first moved into our home. They aren’t great for hot water at 212F, but your standard coffee will do, lol
