This social distancing thing has really been a lot to handle for everyone; especially people who are faced with underlying medical conditions like myself. I’m still dealing with on and off blood pressure issues and my immune system has proven to be quite wacky after having baby Elias. As I was planning my next blog post, I considered how this pandemic has separated family members, friends and even next door neighbors. Usually spring time in Ohio means bike riding, mid-day jogs and weekend BBQs, but it has been reduced to looking out of the window and daily mask wearing for protection.
Even though we’re living in the digital age, there’s nothing like receiving an unexpected letter in the mail from a friend.

I say all this to say that the Covid-19 pandemic is indeed overwhelming, but we can all do something to lift the next person’s spirit. So what way can you help? How about sending a loved one a personal note detailing how much you care. It’s simple and provides a sense of love even while being in quarantine. Even though we are living in the digital age, there’s nothing like receiving an unexpected lettering in the mail from a friend. So whether your loved one is in the hospital, or (like me) stuck in the house due to immune system concerns, I think it’s a thoughtful gesture to send them a note by post.
Oh, and if you’re concerned about postage, you can order stamps from USPS online and schedule a pickup for your mail. If you live outside of the U.S. check your postal service website to see check if postage can be ordered online.
