Do you like to draw people, but struggle with it? Well, today we will skip drawing faces and all of that challenging stuff to focus on drawing some everyday hairstyles.
Hairstyles are the way we showcase our personalities. This blog is quite simple and you don’t have to worry about drawing anything perfect. You can totally pull out a magazine or your family photo album to replicate some hairstyles for this tutorial. If you can’t do that, you can follow along with the 6 hairstyles that I created.
Supplies
Step 1. Download and print off the everyday hairstyles pdf with the dotted lines. Don’t have a printer? Here are the pre-sketched heads for reference.
Step 2. Trace over the dotted lines with the Monoline Drawing Pen 08. The 08 pen provides a thick line to define the hairstyle.
Step 3. Grab any Tombow Dual Brush Pen and color in the hairstyles. This is always my favorite part of the process!
Step 4. Add Details. Ok, now it’s time to go back in with the mono drawing pen 04 to add a few details. This part is totally optional.
I hope this tutorial was helpful, and you had lots of fun. Oh wait, here’s a tip for the homeschooling parents. Feel free to use my everyday hairstyles pdf for a fun activity when you need a break!
Well, until next time happy crafting -Danielle 👩🏽‍🎨
