Do you like hearts? I do! I use heart emojis while texting, I like heart butter cookies, and I enjoy replacing my dots for i’s with hearts.
💕💗❤️💖 I mean, I just love hearts! 💗❤️💖💕
I didn’t want to let this month go by without making a heart-themed blog, so today, we’re going to make a heart chalkboard label that can be used for, ummm almost everything, lol.
This label is free to download, but I have additional labels for purchase if you want more!

Silhouette Cameo 4
Silhouette Tool Kit
Silhouette Chalkboard Vinyl
Silhouette 12 by 24 Cutting Mat
Cricut Transfer Tape
Bistro Chalkboard Marker
Westcott Scissors
Bob’s Soft Peppermints
Clear Plastic Jar
Directions:
Step 1. Download the free heart label file, then prep the cutting mat with 12 by 6 inches of Chalkboard Vinyl.
Step 2. Open Silhouette studio, then click file–> Open –> Heart Chalkboard Label_Valentines Day. svg,–> then ok.
Step 3. Drag the label to the top left corner of the mat, then unlock the ratio and change the size to W 5.831 – 3.706 H.
❗️Note: The label size will need to be adjusted if you have a different jar.
Step 5. Click the send button and follow the highlighted sections in the image below.
Step 6. Load the mat into your cutting machine and start the cut. Once it’s finished, unload and remove the chalkboard vinyl.
In the video, I was a little off with the cut.😬 That can sometimes happen when you’re rushing, so pay extra attention to how you add the vinyl to the mat. Whew, I’m so happy that I had a backup!
Cut the excess vinyl with scissors, then use the weeding tool or your fingers to expose the label.
Step 7. Place the transfer tape on the top of the label, pull the label and transfer tape up together, then center the vinyl onto the clear jar.
Pull the transfer sheet gently away from the jar.
Step 8. Write on your label with a chalk marker or regular chalk.
Well, look at that! Isn’t that a cute heart chalk label? I added bob’s peppermints to my jar because they are a family favorite!
If you’re a teacher, you can add hall passes or little Hershey’s treats for your students. The SVG file can also be used for a Galentine’s day party, pantry jars, garden pots, or whatever you want. All you need is a chalk marker!
That’s it for today’s project! I hope you enjoyed the cut file project. Remember to share the resource with your creative friends.
Until Next time, Whatever you do, make it with zeal!
See Ya! -Dani ✨
