Pastel Pom Pom Pouch

January 22, 2023July 7, 2025 Danielle Leave a comment

Hey folks, The pastel pom pom pouch is here!

When I tell y’all that this pouch is adorable, I mean it! I love pastel colors and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to create a cute DIY project using these pom poms. This pouch can store makeup supplies, nail tools, or just your good ol’ pencils and pens.

This blog is pretty significant because it shows screen grabs from my first youtube video on my channel! I’m beyond stoked to release my first project with the accompanying blog to the people that have supported my work the most, and that’s you! My silly personality will be on screen with little pops of custom emojis that I’ve been dying to show you.

Alright, do you want to see the video!? Well, here it is!

If you’re like, ” umm…I need to read the blog ” I got you! Scroll down to read the step-by-step instructions!

Here’s the supplies list:

Pastel Pom Poms

Ryobi Cordless Hot Glue Gun Set

Hot Glue Sticks

Canvas Pouch

Craft Plastic Sheets

How to make the pastel pom pom pouch:

Step 1. Start by cutting some craft plastic to the size of your pouch, then place the it inside the pouch to act as a barrier. We don’t want the hot glue to seep through and cause the bag to stick together.

Step 2. Squeeze out a drop of glue, then place the fluffy side of the pom pom on top.

⚠️ Hot Zone Alert: Glue guns can get pretty hot, so be careful during the gluing process.

Step 3. Slowly glue the pom poms near the zipper but not on the teeth.

Step 4. Flip the pouch and repeat steps 1-3 on the other side.

Step 5. Now that you’ve finished the front and back, add pom poms to the right, left, and bottom seams.

If you’re using the cordless Ryobi glue gun, be sure to have an extra battery for backup, just in case you need it.

Don’t own a glue gun? You can use fabric glue for this project too!

Step 6. Clear out the hot glue strings by gliding your fingers through each section and pulling them out.

Step 7. Use the pouch to store supplies that you use regularly. I dropped my new makeup brushes inside to avoid losing them.

That’s it! Now you have a pastel pom pom pouch that’s funky and stylish!

I hope you enjoyed this video and blog combination today! If you haven’t subscribed to my YouTube channel, I’d love your support as I embark on this journey.
